The most important was staff very helpful and courteous,property was well accessible to every attraction.
Beautiful rooms and delicious breakfast. Reception staff and the property manager went put of way to make us feel welcomed and comfortable.

The breakfast was pleasant with prepared omelettes. We came in a quiet time when we did not see many other guests, so the pool and the ground floor restuarant looked great but we did not partake. We ate on the top floor restaurant with a terrace that was a greaet place to sit after dinner to see the sun set.

Exceptional service from the entire team. Due to delays in our plans, the hotel kindly offered us a complimentary massage and a free late check out, which made a big difference to our stay. All staff showed outstanding hospitality and genuine care. Zineb is a highly professional massage therapist, not just a light massage but a truly therapeutic experience. And Mohammed at the reception took care of everything for us from start to finish with great attention and kindness.

This is a beautiful old grand dame of a hotel, and the staff are incredible. The location is at the back of the medina but is very accessible by car, making it a good place to stay to have both access to the historical souks etc as well as easy access in and out by car. The restaurant has great food and drink (including wine etc.). Our two suites were on the ground floor next to each other and were quite large and comfortable. Mine had an actual hot tub (not bath tub) in the room. The couch and chairs in the living room were comfortable.

We loved the hotel. The hotel is well located in the old city of Fes. It was so well decorated with the andalousse style. The staff was amazing and very attentive. The breakfast was really good. We had our room upgraded from senior to ambassador. The room was so well decorated,very clean with two bathrooms. One of them even had a hot hub. I really recommend this hotel.

Excellent quiet location. Bed was very comfortable and the room was incredibly quiet. I made the reception staff aware of a medical condition, and they were more than accommodating and incredibly kind. Dinner in the restaurant was very good.

The staff absolutely went above and beyond; my 9-year-old daughter got a little hurt on our vacation, enough to need some medical attention, and the amazing woman at the reception helped us arrange an appointment with a doctor to get the medicine she needed and had a porter travel with us to the clinic. Everyone was so sweet, I was so so grateful!! Also the rooms are huge, the location is very central and close to the markets, the view from the terrace is fabulous, and the breakfast was quite good.

A lovely place to spend a few nights, staff just couldn't be any nicer, Riad was beautiful and had a charming atmosphere, great room, just outside the front door, walk 50 paces and you are in the narrow streets of Fez medina. Just amazing. .

We had a booking for 1 night in Fez. This hotel is heritage but outdated. The room were suites but with a small bathroom. It was a good stay. Nothing special. Breakfast was OK. Entrance had construction debris.

A nice very authentic hotel in Fes, a little bit far from the center but that’s ok. The rooms are huge with views to the interior pool. The entrance to the hotel is a bit scary but maybe because they are building something next door.
The staff is very friendly and professional and most of them speak perfect English.
The only bad issue is that the pool needs to be clean, the water was very dirty and no maintenance was done while we were there.

Characterful spacious suite. There's something mean spirited, when a hotel can't provide a free bottle of water in your room, especially when one can't drink the tap water, and it is hot. There was no minibar or fridge, but there was a plate of fuit. The courtyard pool probably gets little sun, and was cold with a healthy scum on the surface. Everywhere we went there was music, live and piped. On the Saturday evening the loud ethnic music was playing until 11.30pm, and echoed around the courtyard. The buffet breakfast was barely adequate, and the evening meals were mixed in quality. Staff were reasonably helpful, but their English was limited.

This is the 4th hotel, on my Grand Tour of Morocco with Jules Verne Group, & I love the place - my room with 2 bathrooms, TV's in sitting area & bedroom - wonderful view overlooking pool and lower dining area - relaxing garden area.
The 1st evening - lower dining area - with 3 piece traditional music, really giving the feel of Morocco - followed by a wonderful meal in candlelit area.
Breakfast at the top dining area of the hotel - buffet style- lots of choice ( pancakes with honey as my starter ) that with a stunning views of surrounding area.
The next evening dinner was served there as well, so what a splendid outlook with your pre dinner drink ( special mention to Ismail for looking after us ) this sets the night off well for more enjoyable food.Thank you to the staff.

was surprised and impressed with the room. a large bed in entrance room with sitting area...and another large bed in separate living area with adjoining door. each room had windows that opened into courtyard area with view of the pool. we really appreciated the fact that our room was a smoking room with cool ashtray provided. bathroom had regular toilet and also a bidet. shower was weird...water pressure lacking and removable head contraption was awkward but we made it work. thoroughly enjoyed the hammam. breakfast is definitely lacking but dinner made up for it. chicken tajine was best of entire tour! would recommend and return.

If we come back to Morocco it will be because of this riad. The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable. Beautiful pool, great food and good wine. The spa was outstanding. We had our very first hammam...can’t wait to do it again. Must visit this place if you’re ever in the area.

This hotel does not deserve a 5 star rating. Our suite was very large but dark and outdated with a rather sad decor and unattractive heavy curtains. I chose the place because it had a pool but the water was icy cold and the pool didn't get any sun at all. The other very small indoor pool was equally cold and gloomy, as was the hammam. The restaurant was ok except for the strange breakfast. Also, we were not informed if the gigantic construction site next door for the future Sofitel. The only positive points were the good location on the edge of the medina at the Bab Guissa gate and the very kind and helpful staff.

My wife and I had a wonderful experience at this beautiful hotel. All the staff were very attentive. The people who worked at the front desk reception went above and beyond the call of duty. Aziz,, Sabah and Mohammed were so nice and helpful. Every person who worked in the hotel was outstanding. My wife especially enjoyed the massage with Amima. The suite was beautiful and clean. We would come here again without any hesitation.

We stayed in a Junior Suite and it was absolutely perfect. We had a giant and extremely comfortable bed, a large living room for relaxing and a well-equipped and well-decorated bathroom. The staff were absolutely fantastic and were one of the highlights of our stay. They were all extremely friendly, kind and helpful and truly went above and beyond to make sure we were as comfortable and happy as possible. The breakfast was one of the largest and most varied I’ve ever had in my life. Every morning we had plates upon plates placed in front of us to devour. We also enjoyed making use of the pool on one of our days there. The hotel is situated just within the medina but far from any noise. It took us 10-15 minutes to get to dinner restaurants. We loved having our peaceful haven to come back to after a long day of exploring and haggling in the medina!

We loved this hotel. Not only is it perfectly positioned just inside the medina, but the quality of the rooms and service is top notch too! The suites are huge with beautiful shuttered stained glass windows. We also had two sofas (although looking good, they were not very comfortable), a bathroom with dual basins and a jaccuzzi and toilet, and a further room with a second toilet and a third washbasin. Very impressive. It just needed a couple of bedside reading lights. Evening meals were delightful, taken outside on the candlelit terrace in the central riad garden, with live music from a traditional trio in the background. Food was excellent too being far more imaginative than we had experienced in previous Moroccan hotels. Breakfast provided a good choice with eggs cooked to order and attentive staff.

Hospitality team especially Aziz in the reception who informed us about the historical background of the Palais Ommeyad and directed us to the suite with a friendly smile.
Nice rooftop with international dining. Cool morocan dining next to the pool.
Recommend Hammam bath is also nice. Ladies who is taking care the place is good.

Stayed at Palais Ommeyad with family and friends and it was fabulous. It is a grand, old palace that has managed to keep its charm but stay fresh. The service was impecable from the reception to the rooftop restaurant servers. Rooms were enormous. Easily accessible. The spa on the lower level was worth the trip too.

I went with my friends for lunch and it was amazing the food was so delicious the service is great the place is like a paradise the architecture decoration ... everything was perfect thanks for the stuff I'm coming back soon

Amazing riad where i live a unblievable time with my girlfriend i like all people there workers and waiters all of them are so gentils with us i really want to came to this riad again and i will never forget that moment there

This is a really cute hotel not far from the Médina. The suites are very large and well appointed. The spa also is nice. But the high point is the staff — they are all very friendly and accommodating. The price is right also.

We stayed in nearby Rhiad Dar Anebar and the owner recommended to go to Palais Ommeyad to use the nice pool and garden. It was a hot day (28C) in October so we were lucky as the pool is not heated. This didn’t stop our kids from jumping in though! The staff were very friendly and we ended up staying for a lovely lunch of Moroccan food as well. Added bonus was that they didn’t even charge for the use of the pool.

Our room was huge and in addition there was another attached room with an extra bed. The only problem was that the room was so dark and it was too difficult to open the windows etc. There was also alot of construction so we had to walk a fair amount to get to the street with luggage. It did not appear to have many other reservations other than ours. Our breakfast was good but the room was somewhat lonely. I felt that others had chosen not to stay there for some reason. There was a pool, elevator and the food at dinner was fine. However I do not think I would stay there again.

it was my first time in fez , i was recommended by a friend to visit this extraordinary Riad . I've spent 3 amazing nights , i was hooked by the architecture , the rooms, the pool...  everything was unique. Moreover, the reception service was so good . i would love to visit it again as soon as possible.

I have spent 2 nights there , Really It is a magical Riad with caring services , more than that its very romantic place such as Moroccan restaurant and room decorations . Liked so much the landscape architecture. i highly recommend people who visit fes to enjoy their stay in Palais Ommeyad as i did

The hotel is one of the best we have stayed at. It felt exclusive and the facilities matched this most of the time. The suites were the biggest and the best layed out I have ever stayed in and the food/breakfast was great , Everyone in the hotel was also very helpful and always deal with a smile.
room is really clean. I just want to highlight that you should be proud of your staff, they just take this place to the next level. We really love this hotel.
